From COMINGO to ACE: The Journey of Our Coalition of NGOs
The historic HINDRAF Rally on 25 November 2007 marked a turning point for the Malaysian Indian community. In its aftermath, a coalition of Malaysian Indian NGOs, known as COMINGO, was formed on 10 December 2007. Its purpose was to issue statements on the rally, articulate the reasons behind it, and convey to the government the depth of dissatisfaction within the Indian community.
