Strategic Workshop: Capacity Strengthening for ACE Member NGOs

The Association for Advocacy & Community Empowerment (ACE), organised a high-impact workshop on 18 April 2026 at EWRF HQ, TTDI, Kuala Lumpur, bringing together 40 representatives from 16 ACE Member NGOs.

This was not just a meeting but it was about execution. We confronted the data head-on: while absolute poverty is declining, inequality continues to rise, and youth unemployment has reached a critical level of 22.9%.

In response, we made a bold and unified commitment towards building “A Self-Reliant Indian Malaysian Community by 2050.” We agreed that there will be no more fragmented efforts and no more welfare-driven approaches.

Every leader present signed a commitment outlining clear actions to be taken within 30 days, with real accountability. This marks the point where alignment transforms into action, as we move forward together with clarity, urgency, and purpose.
