Manifesto Rakyat 2.0 - A Nationwide Civic Initiative To Gather The People's Voices On National Policies
ACE, a member of GBM, joined the press conference on 11 February 2026 at Tamil Foundation to announce the launch of Manifesto Rakyat 2.0.
Manifesto Rakyat 2.0 is a nationwide civic initiative to gather the people’s voices on national policies. Unlike traditional political manifestos, this is a people-led platform built from lived experiences- collecting reform ideas, policy feedback, proposals for change, and public demands.
From February to July 2026, GBM and its partners will engage communities across Malaysia, including Sabah, Sarawak, urban, rural, and marginalised groups – through submissions, surveys, roadshows, forums, interviews, and focus group discussions.
The final document, covering four key pillars (People & Society, People’s Rights, People’s Wellbeing, and People’s Institutions), will be published in Malay, English, Tamil, and Chinese after nationwide consultations.
