Inside MySkills Foundation: Giving Youth at Risk a Second Chance
MySkills Foundation, one of ACE’s member organisations, exists precisely for these youths. Established in 2011, MySkills focuses on youth at risk, particularly school dropouts and young people from high-risk environments. Instead of short-term programmes, MySkills runs a fully residential Holistic Transformation Skills Training Programme that combines: At the heart of lies a philosophy of collaboration. We believe that success is a journey best shared, and our dedicated team is poised to be your strategic partner.

Character “re-engineering” and emotional development
-
Life management and social skills
-
Vocational training and entrepreneurship pathways
The model is built on a 70:30 ratio-70% character development, 30% skills training-recognising that sustainable change begins with mindset, values and emotional resilience.
From its 34-acre campus in Kalumpang, Selangor, MySkills provides a structured environment where youths can heal, learn and rebuild their futures. Since its inception, it has impacted more than 3,000 lives, helping many transition into stable employment and meaningful participation in society.
As part of ACE, MySkills brings critical insights on youth issues into coalition advocacy.
At the same time, ACE works to ensure that policies, funding and public attention recognise the importance of deep, long-term interventions for youth at risk.
In upcoming blogs, we will share personal stories from MySkills alumni and explore how policy changes could better support this life-changing work.
